Introduction to Silversmithing

PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer selling new workshop spaces as they are being phased out. Consequently, workshops are being run only for those who already hold unexpired vouchers.

 

On this introductory workshop you will learn to create your own ring or pendant with a cabochon stone set in silver, a perfect gift for someone special or maybe just a treat for yourself! Your tutor, Leah, will be on hand to guide you step by step and ensure you take home a piece of jewellery to be proud of. All tools and materials are included.

 

The workshop lasts for around 2.5 hours, give or take half an hour, depending on the number of attendees. The sessions, which run on Saturdays only, usually start at either 10:30am or 2pm.

Workshops are held in the studio at the back of our shop at 59 The Old High Street, Folkestone, CT20 1RN. We do have a loo you can use but please note that this is in our basement. Consequently, as there are a number of steps involved in reaching the loo, this may be difficult for those with mobility issues.
