'His Dark Materials' is an original abstract watercolour painting by Alex Boican.
 
Alex is a Romanian-born multi-disciplinary artist based in Folkestone, Kent, whose art practice includes oil painting, watercolour and ink painting, mixed media drawing and poetic installations. He finds inspiration in everyday life, classical art, and mark making experimentation. Alex’s drawings and watercolour paintings are created using his 'nervous' technique which imbues his expressionistic creations with drama and energy.
 
This mounted painting is oblong-shaped and hangs vertically. Size (including the mount): 12 inches width by 16 inches length (30.5 cm x 40.5 cm).
