'Crabby Road' is a good quality, signed giclée print of a painting of the seaside town of Whitstable in Kent by Canterbury artist, David Weeks. Colourful and quirky, it shows the view from the zebra crossing down to the town's very own 'flat-iron' building in the centre. The Quayside bar and kitchen is on the left and depicted in the foreground is the Whitstable diver (Whitstable is where helmet diving first began). He is being accompanied by a trio of cheeky seagulls, one of whom has caught a crab, while another seagull flying overhead has caught a goldfish! The image pays homage to The Beatles and the spirit of their 'Abbey Road' album cover. A VW Beetle is driving away in the distance and a 1960s police van approaches the crossing; both of these vehicles featured on The Beatles' album cover.
 
This print, which has been placed in a cream mount ready for putting in a frame, will make a great addition to any wall. It is oblong-shaped and hangs horizontally. Size (including the mount): 20 inches width x 16 inches height (51 cm x 41 cm).
