This fun and quirky coaster depicts the seaside town of Whitstable, Kent (with a little artistic licence thrown in). The colourful image, which is from a painting by Canterbury artist, David Weeks, shows the view from the zebra crossing down to the town's very own 'flat-iron' building in the centre. The Quayside bar and kitchen is on the left and depicted in the foreground is the Whitstable diver. The image pays homage to The Beatles and the spirit of their 'Abbey Road' album cover. A VW Beetle is driving away in the distance and a 1960s police van approaches the crossing; both of these vehicles featured on The Beatles' album cover.
Size: 3.5 inches width x 3.5 inches length (9 cm x 9 cm).
